Planted Technology Seat Brackets

Planted Technology is a family owned company known for premium aftermarket seat brackets and universal side mounts for almost all makes and models of vehicles. Among the products of the company are also top-quality hardware kits, reinforcement plates, and seat spacers. Planted Technology is constantly looking for new and used cars and trucks to test each product to ensure a perfect fit as well as expand the company's applications.

The company provides strong seat brackets that are made from 3/16" thick steel and have a black powder coated finish. They don't warp or bend with heat while other brackets can be deformed by hand. Planted seat brackets are designed to accept sliders from major seat manufacturers, namely Braum, Cobra, Bride, OMP, Momo, Recaro, Status, Sparco, and more. Extra material is provided for side mount or direct seat applications where eliminating sliders is desired.

The company also offers offset and 90 degree universal side mounts which have a black powder-coated finish and are made from 1/8" thick steel to conform to FIA's required thickness. The side mounts snugly fit side mount seats by Racetech, Sparco, Cobra, Recaro, Status, OMP, and Bride for certain. Planted Technology offers a seat hardware kit that allows for tight mounting of an aftermarket seat and includes 8 button head cap screws, nyloc nuts, and washers. The company's side mount hardware kit is designed for secure mounting of your side mount seat. It includes 4 fender washers and 4 button head cap screws.

Planted Technology manufactures reinforcement plates to provide safe installation of a harness to sheet metal and prevent it from ripping out of the floor. The plate has a 7/16" - 20 nut welded all the way around to a 1/8" thick piece of steel measuring 2" x 3" and powder coated black. The company has a line of seat spacers specially designed to raise a seat that sits lower than preferred. They can be utilized with majority brands of sliders such as Recaro Style, Sportster CS, Sport, OMP, Sparco, etc. The seat spacers are sold in a pair (enough for one seat).

Planted Technology carries a full line of universal side mounts for aftermarket seats made from aluminum and steel. They are designed to bolt directly to sliders but have multiple slots for adjustability when direct mounting. Manufactured from 1/4" thick aluminum, the mounts comply with FIA's 13/64 inch minimum and feature a gray powder-coated finish. Each offset aluminum side mount weighs about 3.5 lbs. The company's 90 degree side mounts are also built from aluminum and perform the same function as offset side mounts but they weigh a little less - 3 lbs.
