With the Nissan 350Z, you could successfully illustrate to anyone what a sports coupe should be like. This recognizable vehicle, also available as a roadster, debuted in 2003 and displayed all the qualities valued in its class – adequate performance, sharp handling, stiff suspension. The VQ-series 3.5-liter initially gave 287 hp; with rear-wheel drive and 5-speed automatic/6-speed manual transmission, it formed the base idea behind this popular two-seater. Engine output rose to 300 hp in 2005 with the yellow “Anniversary” edition, and two years later to 306 hp. Another important characteristic was chassis. The FM platform hosted a sophisticated and firm suspension, and the curb weight was balanced perfectly. The handling responsiveness immediately oriented performance seekers toward the model, so a special lineup named Nismo emerged, where the chassis are further improved.
The primary reason why good vehicles take so long to be designed is that everything needs to be linked together. An automobile is a system where all parts are connected, and even the “minor” ones matter a lot – especially those located below the vehicle's “waistline”. To this latter category belongs the oil pan, which typically doesn't cause much worry, but can suffer immensely from debris (especially in long off-road journeys). We offer Nissan 350Z oil pans, drain plugs and dipsticks of high quality from leading aftermarket brands. Companies like Spectra Premium, Fel-Pro and Dorman are renowned for producing components that fit the model perfectly and function impeccably.
