The stateside Mazda 2 is available with 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine rating 100 hp. The engine is paired with a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. The car is offered as a 4-door hatchback in Sport and Touring trim levels. The standard safety features include ABS, anti-skid system, traction control, dynamic stability control, brake assist system, electronic brake-force distribution, advanced front-side airbags, and curtain-side airbags. All models come standard with power windows and mirrors, air conditioning, door and windows locks, remote key-less entry, and 60/40 split folding rear seats.
