The Evora S comes with a more powerful 3.5-liter 345-hp DOHC V6 VVT-i enhanced with Harrop HTV 1320 Supercharger using Eaton TVS (Twin Vortices Series) Technology, which provides more power and improved fuel mileage in a smaller package for uncompromising, high-performance driving. This upgraded model accelerates to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds and attains a 178 mph top speed. Both versions come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission with sports ratios. For drivers looking for added flexibility and more relaxed driving, Lotus offers an optional 6-speed automatic transmission with Intelligent Precision Shift (IPS) system with paddle shift control. It ensures the vehicle is in the right gear at the right moment depending on driving style.

The Lotus Evora chassis features a lightweight and incredibly strong aluminum construction which allowed the experts at Lotus to design a more compliant, highly tuned suspension. The Lotus Evora is offered in the 2+0 standard and 2+2 optional configuration for those who demand additional flexibility. Inside the Evora, one can take advantage of a combination of comfort and function provided by premium Recaro seats, a command center with auxiliary trip computer and an immobilizer with remote activated alarm, and a number of optional features such as heated seats, a rearview camera, an advanced touchscreen multimedia system, etc.
