Lotus 3-Eleven Automotive Tools

The Lotus 3-Eleven first broke cover at the Goodwood Festival of Speed back in 2015. This lightweight sports car is the fastest production Lotus ever manufactured and one of the quickest street-legal cars to lap the Nürburgring. Based on a road car, the Lotus 3-Eleven borrowed a bonded aluminum chassis and a supercharged V6 displacing 3.5 liters from the Exige. To cut as much weight as possible, the 3-Eleven drops the roof, windshield, and doors and features the rest of body panels made from carbon fiber. Only 311 models are available, offered in standard Road and more aggressive Race versions. The “regular” 3-Eleven pumps out 410 hp, while hardware and software upgrades made to the Race have boosted the output to 460 hp. That power, combined with 2,040 lb dry weight of the Road and 1,962 lb of the Race, results in a 0-60 time of 3.3 and 2.9 seconds, respectively.

With the production run of the original Lotus 3-Eleven scheduled to end in 2018, the company has launched its limited edition version, the 3-Eleven 430, available in only 20 copies. It differs from the outgoing road-legal racer in several ways, first and foremost with its reoptimized 3.5-liter V6 that ups power to 430 hp (hence the name) and produces 324.5 lb-ft. of torque. This engine propels the car to 60 miles in 3.1 seconds and allows a top speed of 180 mph. The Lotus 3-Eleven 430 has shown incredible results at the Hethel test track with a lap time of 1:24. It is the best result of any other Lotus car, and this makes it the quickest street-legal track car currently built by the sports car maker.

The Lotus 3-Eleven 430 weighs 2,028 lb and still uses the Exige's underpinnings, but has a revised bodywork with a bigger amount of carbon-composite materials employed. It also got a new front splitter and big rear wing. Lotus 3-Eleven parts of the suspension were donated by the original Road model, including Öhlins dampers, Eibach stabilizer bars front and rear, and a Torsen limited-slip differential. And just like the outgoing racer, the limited-edition version uses a six-speed manual. The stopping power comes from lightweight grooved and ventilated brake rotors and four-piston calipers sourced from AP Racing. Precision engineered, lightweight Lotus 3-Eleven accessories and parts create a combination of aggressive styling, speed, agility, and adjustability that results in record-breaking performance. Should you need any other Lotus 3-Eleven accessories and parts to add even more dazzle to your driving experience, you'll find them all right here.
