The downside to today's high-tech headlights, with their aerodynamic shapes, Halos, and LED and projector beam illumination, is the cost to replace them when they break. Just a few decades ago all cars and trucks used standard size sealed beams that, although dim and unexciting, were nevertheless cheap to replace. But today, no matter whether you have factory installed or aftermarket custom headlights, replacing a busted light fixture is an expensive proposition. You can prevent damage and keep cash in your pocket by installing headlight covers. Many of these protectors are available in smoke finishes with different levels of tint and can even be custom painted, so matching them to your car's styling won't be an issue.

Urethane vs. Acrylic

Our clear headlight covers come in flexible urethane or high-impact acrylic. Both are custom made for each application, to ensure a perfect fit, and super easy to install. In addition to protecting headlamps from cracking, scratching, and pitting, they have built-in UV inhibitors to prevent hazing and discoloration that can reduce illumination, so you get protection and safer driving at night and in inclement weather.

• Urethane covers will perfectly conform to the contours of your headlights after easy peel-and- stick installation. These protectors use a soft film that sticks to glass or plastic lenses forming an invisible clear shield that passes 100% of light through while protecting the lenses against road debris and UV damage. This style cover is also available for fog lamps and turn signals.
• High-impact acrylic covers have a thick, hard-shell construction for maximum protection, and these install easily with double-sided adhesive tape. They are pre-shaped for a precise fit to your model.

Clear vs. Tinted

You can get protection and a custom appearance with our smoke and custom headlight covers. Like our clear covers, each one is custom designed for the specific application. Smoke headlight covers will give your lights a blacked out look that's a proven hit at shows. Most are constructed from high-impact acrylic for maximum protection from rocks and debris, making them particularly appropriate for off-road going trucks and SUVs. Smoke protectors may not be legal for road use in your area, so we suggest checking local laws before installation. However, since most of these units snap on or attach with double-sided tape, they're easy to remove and install, so you can have the best of both worlds: trophy winning looks when you want them and street legal illumination when you need it.
