In IIHS side impact testing, the 2007 Amanti earned the highest rating of Good. The final 2009 model year featured significant improvements over its predecessors. In terms of luxury and safety features, the Kia Amanti rivaled Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. Modified chassis reduced car weight and improved handling.
