Ford Steering Dampers & Stabilizers

I thought after reading the reviews about the leaking, maybe they all just got a bad set..I ordered a pair anyways and the first set I revived were already leaking inside the box. They were painted all the way up to the threads which makes starting a nut very difficult.The strut was also slightly bent. I returned my set and nervously waited for a return approval..once approved another set was on its way. Recieved the new set no leaks but still had to deal with the paint to get the nut on..I wound up melting the paint off so I could thread the nut on, and glad I did. I also went ahead and tightened the nut all the way down before even installing them just to make sure it would thread and it did. After installation worked great for about a week and my truck is a street queen and I hardly drive her...only on Saturdays to work and home and BOOM!! Leaking! My advice to anyone is to find another set that has a better reputation. I would not recommend this product and frankly hope that someone reads this and takes the initiative to send me a set I could actually get behind or at the very least send me a couple new NON LEAKING NON WEAK seal set of struts. Sorry Fabtech and CARiD, not happy!
