Having superseded the 550 Maranello in the carmaker’s model range of grand tourers, the Ferrari 575M Maranello made its official debut in 2002. Like its predecessor, this newly launched model was available in a coupe body style and featured a 98.4 inch wheelbase. The automobile has a front-engine rear-wheel-drive layout. Outfitted with a 5.7L V12 mated to a 6-speed manual or electrohydraulic transmission, the car boasted of maximum engine output of approximately 508 hp and could accelerate to 62 mph in just about 4.2 seconds. The production of the machine was stopped in 2006, as the auto was supplanted with a newer model, the Ferrari 599.
