This bracket allows you to relocate your front license plate onto the front of a Dee Zee Bull Bar if it becomes hidden or interferes with installation of the bull bar. If your front license plate is hidden by Dee Zee’s Bull Bar after installation, you may be in violation of state laws that require clear display of tags during motor vehicle operation. Not only can this get you pulled over and result in costly tickets, it may also result in failure to be issued a passing state inspection sticker. Dee Zee provides an easy solution to these problems with the Universal License Plate Mount. It’s made of traditional mild steel and powder coated to prevent decay from the onslaught of corrosive road salt, grime, and airborne pollutants that bombard the front of your vehicle.
Should you also find that your original license plate mounting assembly is too bulky to prevent your Dee Zee Bull Bar from aligning properly during installation, you can remove the assembly completely from your front bumper to provide the clearance needed. 6-millimeter threaded inserts allow the Universal License Plate Mount to lock in place on the underside of the mid-section bar and remain in place securely over the roughest, most vibration-inducing road surfaces.
