Established in 1978, Darton Sleeves is among the leading manufacturers of automotive speed equipment parts today. Darton Sleeves is a department of a larger company, Darton International, Inc. In 1990, Darton became part of Pachancho, a large 100-year-old international Portugal-based company. This merge was beneficial for Darton Sleeves and Darton USA in particular – Pachancho is specialized in the production of automotive components such as piston rings, various types of cylinder sleeves, iron castings and customized aluminum castings and shared its experience with Darton.

All of Darton cylinder sleeve materials are produced in Portugal, on Pachancho facilities, which are world-known for perfection in producing various types of centrifugally cast ductile and gray iron. The manufacturing process is painstaking and complicated, though it allows the company to eliminate all possible errors and defects of its final product offered to customers.
