Only One Side Opens. Why?

I wish both sides opened, that would make this window perfect. Especially for $500.

CR Laurence OEM Look T-Vent Windows

C.R. Laurence® FW392L - Front Driver Side OEM Design "All-Glass" Look T-Vent Window

For Ram ProMaster. Build quality okay - not the highest quality in that there are some relatively minor flaws here and there. Note that the markings inside your Ram ProMaster will not be a great guide for fitting this window. You will need to mark, measure, trace and so forth to get the right cutout and fit. Works well and no leaks. Cosmetically nice from the exterior and easy install once you have cut out done correctly. CARiD got these here fast and are a reliable company for facilitating. Prices were better than others.

C.R. Laurence T-Vent

While pricey, this window holds true to name with an all-glass OEM something I wanted for my Promaster conversion. It's nice being able to open the T-vent for increased ventilation, though the product description and pictures do not make it obvious that only one side opens. I suspect this is to keep someone from punching the screen out, reaching in and manually opening the door from the inside. On the Promaster, however, if the cargo area doors are locked, the interior lever still will not open the door... Seems like both sides could open. Either way, ventilation seems sufficient even with only half of the lower part of the window open.

Eye-popping Color! Matched Grain! Easy Installation With Some Caveats.

This review is for the Promaster drivers side "T" vent window. If you wondering if its a bonded window, its not (all you really need to buy is some primer for the cut metal). This was a pretty easy installation with some caveats. Make a template using the trim ring inner edge. Do not just start cutting what seems like the factory window opening, or the two upper corners will have too large a radius. When dry fitting the window, it will seem like the window will not fit the contour of the van surface, once you screw down the window in a cross hatch pattern it will contour perfectly. All in all it took about two hours to install, and looks like a OEM window installation. CARiD had the lowest price for this window, and it was shipped from the factory. I've bought a few things from CARiD, their prices are the best, but their order tracking is a little sketchy.
