The Black Twill Replace-a-Top brings a level of refinement never before available for a Jeep. The 30 oz. fabric consists of 3 layers, the exterior Black Twill, a center butyl rubber layer, and the interior cloth backing. The Black Twill is soft, smooth and wrinkle-free, and contains no PVCs, while the interior cloth backing features a unique textured finish that will create a more finished cabin. All 3 layers combine to reduce noise for a quieter ride and improve insulation, for a warmer cabin in the winter and cooler driving experience in the summer. The top is constructed using 135-gauge polyester industrial strength thread and the seams are finished for lifelong durability.
The 40-mil DOT (Department of Transportation) windows, the thickest windows on the market, are extended surface heat sealed for strength and protection from climate extremes, and have a 31% tint to help keep the interior cooler in warm weather. Premium quality YKK scoop count zippers are used for easy window removal and installation.
The Bestop Matte Black Twill Replace-a-Top comes with detailed, illustrated instructions to guide you through an easy installation that should only take about 1 1/2 hours, even if you've never installed a soft top before (at temperatures of 72°F or higher, below that temperature the fabric may contract somewhat, making it more difficult to fit to the vehicle). It's covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, the only top you can buy with a warranty this strong.
