Arnott Air Springs are engineered in the company’s 65,000 square foot Research and Development Center and then undergo extensive testing on Arnott-owned vehicles. Arnott springs feature state-of-the art, multi-ply air bladders manufactured by industry-leading rubber companies such as ContiTech and Goodyear. Arnott springs are assembled, tested, and packaged in Arnott’s American and EU facilities using ISO-certified quality management principles. Arnott Air Springs last longer, are easier to install, and provide unparalleled ride comfort and durability.
The Arnott Advantage:
Arnott designs all-new struts engineered for each individual application. Arnott’s completely new struts are built from the ground up with quality components including all-new, custom-valved internal shocks. These shocks are engineered and rigorously tested on dyno machines and then driven countless miles on Arnott’s fleet of test cars. The goal is to produce Air Struts capable of performing as close to the OE as possible … and the proof is in the driving: most drivers love the new strut’s ride and handling!
Many of Arnott’s new struts feature CNC-machined tops made from aircraft-quality aluminum and new steel bottom mounts that fit perfectly without vehicle modifications. All Arnott Air Struts contain longer-lasting seals, new bump stops, heavy-duty crimping rings, a resistor to eliminate dashboard warning lights, as well as dust baffles and aluminum cans to protect the units from road debris. Arnott-designed new struts are an excellent alternative for aging air suspension systems because they provide the luxury, comfort and auto leveling of air springs but replace the aging used stock shock with a completely new shock custom-valved to provide a great ride.
The Arnott Advantage:
Arnott is the industry leader in remanufacturing used original equipment air suspension struts, amassing more than 25 years fine-tuning the process. Arnott remanufactured struts reuse the original shock, top and bottom mounts, and any additional integral components helpful in maintaining full factory functionality. The core strut’s shock is dyno tested on a computerized testing machine. If the shock doesn?t pass, it isn?t used. Arnott then conducts a deep cleaning, sands off rust, and repaints the strut with corrosion-resistant paint. Many of Arnott’s remanufactured struts are also recharged. Arnott then rebuilds each Air Strut by hand with new, longer-lasting seals; a multi-ply name-brand air bladder; heavy-duty crimping rings; new connectors, VOSS air fittings, and protective coverings including dust baffles and aluminum cans. By reusing the OE shock, Arnott’s remanufactured Air Struts maintain OE active damping functionality.
The Arnott Advantage:
Arnott now offers replacement magnetic ride shocks for vehicles equipped with the GM magnetorheological damper system (Z95 RPO). Magnetic ride shocks contain a monotube damper that is filled with magnetorheological fluid which is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil that contains iron particles that are easily magnetized. When the included electromagnetic coils are turned on, the magnetized iron particles bond, altering the suspension viscosity and stiffness.
Compressor burnout is one of the more frequent air suspension problems encountered by drivers. Burnout occurs when the air suspension compressor becomes inoperative from overuse caused by a leaking air spring or other component. By establishing partnerships with the leading Original Equipment Suppliers such as WABCO, as well as other leading suppliers of aftermarket Air Suspension Compressors, Arnott provides direct replacements for these critical components that offer OE like form, fit and function. These high-quality compressors are tested in Arnott’s facilities and then most are fitted with application-specific components such as brackets, wiring harnesses, relays and integrated dryers to provide a fast, flawless, Plug-n-Play installation.
The Arnott Advantage:
While air suspension provides a smooth ride and load leveling, many customers with a history of air suspension-related issues opt to convert to traditional suspensions. For these older vehicles or those with a multitude of air system issues, Arnott offers Coil Spring Conversion Kits expertly designed to replace a vehicle’s failing air suspension components with traditional steel springs. All of Arnott’s coil springs are made from U.S. steel and are designed and tested to provide a great ride along with many years of trouble-free driving.
Coil Spring Conversions are not for every car. Customers who tow larger trailers or often carry large loads may need to retain the auto-leveling functionality found in air suspension. While coil springs are designed to provide an excellent ride, converted cars carrying larger loads may sag in the rear, causing headlights to aim in the wrong direction.
The Arnott Advantage:
Air suspension solenoid valve blocks are responsible for distributing air from the compressor to air struts or air springs. Over time its O-rings can dry rot, causing damage to the compressor via air leaks and overworking, along with moisture damage to the electrical solenoid components. Arnott provides direct-replacement solenoids that include new O-rings to keep your air suspension system working great!
The Arnott Advantage:
Arnott aftermarket ride height sensors are designed to level your vehicle by measuring the varying distances between the road and the vehicle chassis. The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is provided with this information and sends a signal to the air suspension compressor to increase or decrease the air in the air struts appropriately. Ride height sensors can wear out and are vulnerable to damage from road debris, accidents, water and salt intrusion. Shops should replace a faulty ride height sensor to prevent further damage to the vehicles air suspension system.
The Arnott Advantage:
Included in many of Arnott’s Coil Spring Conversion Kits, Arnott’s exclusive Electronic Bypass Module is designed to eliminate suspension dashboard warning lights. This patents-pending device includes complete step by step instructions and wiring information to make installation quick and easy.
The Arnott Advantage:
Moisture in the air suspension system can freeze and cause damage to many of the air suspension components, including the compressor. Arnott-manufactured dryers are manufactured with the highest-quality components and designed to help prevent moisture damage, providing years of maintenance-free service.
