Diffusers work in conjunction with other aerodynamic components of a car to help produce downforce. Because a car displaces air as it moves forward, the air molecules in the rear of the car get disrupted causing a vacuum of low pressure air. To help channel the high speed air flow coming from underneath the car, diffusers redirects the high speed air flow to transition smoothly transition into the low pressure vacuum in the rear. This encourages a smoother flowing air flow underneath the car and allows better performance from other aerodynamic components such as aerodynamic wings.

Really Nice Product.

APR Performance® - Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser

I recently received one of these. Really beautifully made part. And the fit was perfect. You have to drill the two forward holes in the carbon fiber for the front mounts. Just buy Brad Point drills so you can drill the carbon fiber without splintering it. The back four through the bumper are already drilled, but getting the nuts and washers on the two inner ones is kind of a PITA. Still when finished, it's worth the trouble. One thing, once this is installed, you'll need to pay attention when backing up. Some of those parking lot concrete things are taller than this is, and you'll smash it if you back up too far. It hangs down pretty low when compared to the same items that come on cars from the factory. I'd post pictures, but seems you can't here. Oh well.

Not Paint Ready Out of the Box!

Duraflex® 106426 - Piranha Style Fiberglass Side Skirt Rocker Panels (Unpainted)

They were kind of raw and unfinished. Lots of imperfections and vent hole on one side wasnt even cut out. Needed alot of prep work and sanding to look nice. Fit was good with minor trimming in some areas. Sturdy and well constructed, just not ready to paint out of the box.
