In the 1989, ALC Abrasive Blasters were added, which created a commercial and industrial product line, in addition to expanding the automotive and auto body tool sector. S&H Industries continued to grow with new owners in the 1990s and 2000s. In 2006, S&H Industries again expanded with the acquisition of Viking Tools, from Lake Forest, IL, and later moved the Viking Tools plant to Cleveland. Warranty

ALC warrants its products to be free of deficiency in material or workmanship. The duration of this limited warranty is expressly limited to one year on parts and labor, unless otherwise noted, (selected tools carry a two year limited warranty on parts and one year on labor - ALC products and some Viking tools), beginning from the date of delivery to the original user.

The obligation of ALC is limited solely to the repair or replacement at ALC of any part which shall prove deficient. This warranty does not cover wear parts i.e. rotor blades, or nozzles, ball valves, drill bits, etc., damage to tools arising from alteration, abuse or use for other than their intended purpose and does not cover any repairs or replacement made by anyone other than ALC.

Purchaser must lubricate and maintain air tools under normal operating conditions at all times or they will void the warranty.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More
