The Acura RDX is the entry-level luxury crossover introduced in 2006. This compact SUV is smaller than the more upscale and expensive MDX model. Besides four-wheel drive, the first-gen RDX received a turbocharged and intercooled 2.3L engine by Honda. This motor has a variable flow turbocharger working with a special valve meant to decrease turbo lag at low RPM. Like pretty much any other turbocharged motor, this one requires the finest oils only, which feature good stability in extreme temperatures for a longer lifespan of the turbine and the engine itself.
