The manufacture of the first generation of the Acura NSC was discontinued in November 2005, but ten years later, in December 2015, the second generation of the model was introduced to customers. It is constructed as a two-door coupe which is powered by a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine and electric motors. The original gearbox was replaced with a nine-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
