It is mounted on a common shaft between the turbine and compressor wheels and spins up it before hot exhaust gases do to reduce turbo lag for better throttle response. The mill is mated to a nine-speed automatic.

The performance-oriented C Class comes with all-wheel drive and steel springs with adaptive dampers by default. What’s more, a rear steering system is also standard equipment. As far as styling is concerned, the newbie differentiates itself from the regular model with the AMG grille, vents behind the rear wheels, and round quad exhaust tips. Once inside the cabin, you’ll see a flat-bottom AMG steering wheel which is wrapped in quality Nappa leather and carbon-fiber trim on the dash. Shift paddles are made from aluminum. There are also illuminated door sills. The seats are wrapped in faux leather with eye-catching contrasting stitching.
