It wasn’t long ago that the Hyundai Elantra entered its sixth generation, but it continues getting improvements on a yearly basis. Going up against the likes of the Mazda 3, Honda Civic, and Volkswagen Golf requires much effort put into keeping the car technically modern, comfortable, and compelling both appearance-and performance-wise, so the Korean automaker goes the extra mile to increase the appeal of its compact car. Fuel efficiency and spaciousness are the strong points of the Elantra. It also offers a set of tech features at a lower price point than its Japanese rivals. Add in a wide variety of models and powertrain choices and it’s easy to see why the Elantra attracts the value-oriented customer looking for reasonably-priced mainstream transportation. No matter how plentiful the factory options might be, they can’t beat the variety of 2021 Hyundai Elantra accessories and parts offered in the aftermarket. We’ve gathered a wide range of products for your car having your needs covered when it comes to repair, maintenance, or upgrade.
The 2021 Hyundai Elantra continues in compact sedan and hatchback body styles. The hatchback carries i30 badging in Europe while being sold in the U.S. as the Elantra GT. It is a sportier, sharper-looking version of the regular Elantra. It is fitted with more powerful engines while also featuring fancier accessories like a rear spoiler and dual exhaust tips. For 2021, the GT underwent a facelift that brought a sharper look front and rear along with modern interior tech features. For starters, there’s a wider, more aggressive grille flanked by revised headlights with pointy LED elements. At the rear, the diffuser has been enlarged and the lower rear lights have been positioned further down for a more cohesive look. Speaking of interior improvements, the area behind the steering wheel has been redesigned with a bigger 7-inch digital gauge display and new analog dials. Every model in the Elantra range comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
The exterior of the 2021 Elantra sedan underwent drastic changes. It boasts a coupe-like profile with a sloping roof and new side sheet metal with sharply creased character lines. The grille got a dramatic jewel-like pattern with slim headlights “flowing” into it, and now houses turn signals. Out back, the H-shaped tail lights stretch across the full width of the car making it appear wider. On the inside, the sedan is noticeably more high-tech and features an airplane-inspired cockpit design. Twin 10.25-inch screens for the instruments and infotainment functions are offered on higher trims. The new platform that the Elantra is based on makes it two inches longer, with the wheelbase and and width increased by one inch. The sedan is available in a sporty N-Line guise for the first time this year, bestowed with powertrain and chassis upgrades and aggressive visuals. It replaces the Elantra Sport and will presumably get its 1.6-liter turbo four making around 200 hp and a manual gearbox option.
The Elantra sedan is available with two powertrains at launch, a carryover 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a newly-launched hybrid. The gas-powered 4-cylinder delivers 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a revised CVT. The hybrid model is propelled by a 1.6-liter Atkinson cycle four that teams with an electric motor and a 1.32-kWh battery, producing 139 horsepower in total. This powerplant works with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. The entry-level engine that motivates the GT hatchback is a 2.0-liter 161-hp inline-4. Keep the powerplant, suspension, and other mechanicals of your car in top condition with our 2021 Hyundai Elantra parts. We also carry the right performance upgrades and accessories allowing you to make cosmetic tweaks or otherwise adapt your car to your needs.
