With the Mustang Mach-E, Ford redefines the iconic model that has been around for decades. It’s the first time since 1964 that the Mustang nameplate is used on a vehicle other than a two-door pony car. The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is the automaker’s first all-electric SUV built new from the ground up. Although it’s clearly Mustang-inspired on the outside and bears the name that harks back to the old high-performance versions of the ‘Stang, there’s nothing else on this crossover related to its venerable stablemate. It is the first model based on Ford’s dedicated Global Electric Architecture. With an estimated range of up to 305 miles, the latest tech features, and a bevy of trim levels and options offered, the SUV is set to appeal to tech-savvy families and challenge Tesla vehicles. Lucky owners can further customize it with a wide range of 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E accessories and parts.

The Mustang-branded SUV comes with a standard- or extended-range lithium-ion battery, which feeds either a single electric motor on the rear axle or a dual-motor system which forms all-wheel drive. The smaller 75.7-kWh battery provides a 230-mile range in combination with rear-wheel drive and offers 210 miles if AWD is opted for. The 98.8-kWh battery equipped versions are expected to muster 300 or 270 miles with RWD or AWD, respectively. The driving range is shorter on high-performance GT models with all-wheel drive, which can travel up to 235 miles. The longest range within the model line and within the entire Ford EV family is offered on the rear-drive Mach-E California Route 1 that can cover 305 miles. Power-wise, its motor can develop 290 ponies and ensure a 6.1-second 0-60 sprint.

While some trims aim to maximize the amount of miles per charge, both the standard GT and GT Performance Edition focus on more power and breathtaking acceleration. While the “regular” GT with a 88.0-kWh battery pack is rated at 480 hp and 600 pound-feet of torque, its higher-performance counterpart puts out the same horsepower but ups the torque count to 634 pound-feet. That thrust is claimed to sprint the GT and GT Performance to 60 mph in 3.8 and 3.5 seconds, respectively. Less powerful SUVs develop between 255 and 332, while putting out from 306 to 417 lb-ft of torque. The standard mobile charger adds 22 miles per hour via a 240V outlet. Ford plans to build the largest charging network in the U.S. that will include more plugs than Tesla currently has stateside.

The exterior styling cues borrowed from its iconic pony car sibling make the 2021 Mach-E instantly recognizable as the Mustang family member. Up front, there’s a long hood and a familiar grille outline flanked by squinted headlights. The sides are smoother than those of the ‘Stang, devoid of the characteristic sharp creases, but the coupe-like roofline adds dynamics to the profile. Out back, many parts of the bodywork are either taken straight from the Mustang or bear some resemblance. On the inside, however, it is an entirely different vehicle. Ford took inspiration from Tesla’s clutter-free interior and fitted its SUV with a vertical 15.5-inch touchscreen. Another 10.2-inch display in front of the driver is for digital instrumentation. The Mach-E is able to get over-the-air (OTA) updates to keep its software up to date, address some flaws, add new features, and even provide performance enhancements. Owners are free to select the exact time for the updates to take place on a regular basis. There are no animal-based materials in the cabin – both leather and suede upholstery options are synthetic. For interior upgrade and personalization, plenty of 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E parts and accessories are available. The model lineup, which includes five trims for the first year, comes standard with the automaker’s bundle of driver assistance systems that include adaptive cruise, automatic braking, and active lane control.

I've bought 3 sets of these matts for different vehicles, two being work trucks that see a lot of wear and tear, and I continue to be impressed with the quality and durability of these matts. They fit extremely well and are very, very durable. You can't go wrong with this product!
