The 2020 Crosstrek is available with a gasoline or hybrid powertrain. The base engine is a 2.0-liter direct-injection I4 capable of 152 hp, connected to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. Typically for a Subaru, AWD is standard. The Hybrid employs a 137 hp version of the four-cylinder that works together with an electric motor, producing 148 hp in total. Cargo capacity is decent, topping out at 55.3 cu. ft. with the rear seats folded and almost 21 cu. ft. in the regular position.
