With up to 92 possible configurations compared to 64 previously offered, the new Transit keeps providing unrivaled versatility to business owners. Just like before, every accessory inside and out is thoughtfully designed and professionally crafted to ensure the ultimate in utility for years to come. On the outside, 2020 Ford Transit parts create the same appearance, save for 3 new grille designs and available HID headlights, which come with LED running lights. However, there are a bunch of changes under the skin. Thus, the 2020 van again comes with a choice of three engines, but two of them are new. The base 3.7 L V6 unit has been replaced with a more powerful 3.5 L V6. A new 2.0 L turbodiesel four-cylinder mill is offered instead of a 3.2 L turbodiesel inline-five.
Finally, the third engine available for the new van is a familiar 3.5 L twin-turbo V6, which is again offered as an option. Both 2.0 L and 3.5 L units feature Auto Start-Stop Technology, which guarantees extra torque and additional fuel efficiency. This year, Ford’s van also brings a ten-speed automatic, which is claimed to provide smoother shifting and better efficiency compared to the previously offered six-speed one. The other update customers will certainly appreciate is the newly available Intelligent AWD that offers three driving modes, so the driver feels in control whatever the weather brings. AWD is available for gasoline powertrains. For 2020, the Transit lineup adopts a crew cab version, which is the finest choice to move both passengers and gear. The Transit also features some new body parts like power-sliding doors.
Inside, the van meets with many 2020 Ford Transit accessories designed to add to the convenience and comfort of the driver. Thus, the interior benefits from new cup holders located on each side of the dash and additional storage compartments atop it. There are also slightly redesigned vents and new climate-control knobs. The new offering can be had with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The list of optional features also includes swiveling front seats. In addition to numerous new and redesigned 2020 Ford Transit accessories and parts inside and out, the model coddles drivers with more electronic aids. For example, every model now comes with automatic emergency braking that applies the brakes to avoid a collision or reduce the impact of an accident. Other notable standard safety features include lane-keep, a post-collision braking system, etc. There are also many optional features like active park assist and front & rear cameras.
