That engine produces about 382 HP and gives the car enough power to run from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. The automaker offers the newbie with either a rear- or all-wheel drive configuration allowing customers to choose the model best suiting their needs. Another spiced-up wagon that Europeans get is the 2020 BMW Alpina B3 Touring AWD, and it ups the performance ante with a 465-hp twin-turbo engine under the hood and a quicker-shifting ZF-tuned 8-speed automatic backing up that massive power. The powerplant got extensive mods including a more capable cooling system and performance exhaust, while the retuned suspension got active dampers with Eibach springs and thicker anti-sway bars to tighten things up. An upgraded braking setup with floating calipers and optional drilled rotors help stop the car on a dime. Inside and out, there are accents that add a sportier feel like a front spoiler, hand-stitched leather upholstery, and Alpina logos.
