The model that retains the 4.0-liter eight-cylinder is the 2020 Audi RS 7 Sportback, which is powered by the upgraded version of this engine rated at 600 horsepower and 590 lb.-ft. Smooth power delivery to the wheels is ensured by air springs and speed-sensitive steering, while beefed-up brakes can efficiently slow and stop the car. The options list offers even stronger and lighter carbon-ceramic brakes, together with the sport-tuned suspension and 4-wheel steering. The new RS 7 Sportback can now accommodate five instead of four thanks to the bench-type rear seat.

The new hatchback also got an enhanced aluminum-intensive multi-link suspension with adaptive dampers. That setup now features firmer bushings which increase roll-motion stiffness. An adaptive air suspension with adjustable damping is offered as an option. In addition to all the mentioned changes, the automaker tuned the steering of the S7 to be quick. The list of chassis goodies includes the automaker’s Sport rear differential and four-wheel steering. Inside the new hatchback, Audi designed the interior to combine utility and style.
