This year, the Q3 lineup adopts the all-new Audi Q3 Sportback, a 'coupe' version of the luxury-oriented crossover. The newcomer shares the platform, high-end features, and many accessories inside and out with its 'bigger' sibling. However, it looks entirely different thanks to a few new creases in some body parts. The roof was sloped, lowered by a 1.1 inch, and extended by about haft an inch. The engine lineup of the model includes the same diesel and gasoline engines as its standard sibling. All engines are paired with the automaker's S Tronic seven-speed twin-clutch. This year, the biggest news about the powertrain is the addition of a new 1.5 L four-cylinder fed by a turbocharger. It is said to be teamed with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. The car equipped with it provides 147 HP.

All Q3 models come with a capable suspension system that damps out all road imperfections for comfortable driving. Europe gets two more aggressive mini-SUV versions – the 2020 Audi RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback, each of which is a monster of a crossover. They differ in cosmetic exterior details, but both are equipped with a ferocious 2.5-liter 5-cylinder good for 400 hp. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic sends power to all four corners, and a 0-62 mph time comes in just 4.5 seconds. The SUVs sit 0.4 inches lower and have a stiffer suspension setup, with many adaptive damper settings available. It’s easy to switch between six driving modes via steering wheel buttons. The RS versions have a sharp look accented by bigger wheels and plenty of gloss black trim.
