All models in the 2019 Subaru BRZ lineup utilize a 2.0 L boxer 4-cylinder capable of producing 205 hp that is teamed with a 6-speed manual and rear-wheel drive. A 6-speed automatic is available too, though in this case the engine generates a bit less horsepower that tops out at 200 hp. The power unit provides excellent responsiveness and good acceleration propelling the vehicle to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds. The base variant of the 2019 BRZ comes with LED headlights, rear spoiler, 17” wheels, heated mirrors, power door locks and windows, engine immobilizer, and keyless entry. The cabin features black cloth upholstery with red stitching, leather steering wheel incorporating controls for cruise control, Bluetooth and audio system, and Incline Start Assist that helps you on an incline holding the car during acceleration to prevent roll back.
