It comes powered by a naturally aspirated Hemi V8 displacing 6.4 liters and delivering 485 hp. This high-performance car can be had with adaptive dampers by Bilstein that work in Auto, Sport, and Track suspension settings. The Launch Control switch was added to the dash for this year.

The Charger Hellcat gets a facelift for 2019 as well, with the major appearance upgrades focusing up front, just like in the case with the Scat Pack. It goes more aggressive with a slimmer grille carrying the SRT Hellcat logo and a large integrated air inlet. On the options list, there are 20'' forged wheels, satin black painted hood, Alcantara seats and steering wheel, and other 2019 Dodge Charger accessories and parts. Despite a giant size air intake, the power output didn't go above the iconic 707-hp mark. Just like its Challenger Hellcat sibling, the Charger Hellcat got an After-Run Chiller that keeps the supercharger cool after the engine stops running and Torque Reserve that increases the boost for faster quarter-mile times. Both cars received the Launch Assist feature that makes them more suitable for racing, detecting and addressing the wheel hop issue. The line lock for smoking the rubber is also standard.

The regular 2019 Dodge Charger lineup was updated as well. AWD is now an available feature for the base SXT model, while the rear-wheel-drive GT version was added to the range. The GT and R/T now come standard with a performance-tuned suspension, modified steering system, sport seats, 8.4-inch display for the Uconnect system, and other 2019 Dodge Charger parts and accessories upgraded for better looks, comfort, and performance. Both models also received Dodge Performance Pages that offer real-time information about the operation of the engine and other critical systems. And both cars got a boost in top speed, which is now 130 mph for the GT, while the R/T can reach 150 mph. It is a styling package that adds military-inspired accents inside and out. What makes it unique on the outside is a black-and-silver center stripe, American flag decals, and bronze calipers peeking through the spokes of black wheels. Bronze stitching adorns a variety of interior surfaces, including the seats, steering wheel, center console, and doors. Additionally, there are bronze stars embroidered on the sides of headrests.

The Octane Edition gives the 2019 Charger SRT Hellcat even more aggressive accents. It dresses the car in black or adds some darkness to the exterior painted in White Knuckle color. Giving the special-edition Charger its stealthy look is a set of gloss black wheels, matte black and red stripes running across the center, black rear spoiler and badges. Inside, red-painted pieces add contrast to the blacked-out theme. The venerable 6.2-liter Hemi V8 rated for 707 horsepower remains unchanged, with Brembo brakes ensuring superior braking force to cope with the engine’s power.
