Both feature an exclusive bronze shade of exterior paint, black chrome elements, and red Brembo brakes. The CTS-V rolls on black-finished 19-inchers and has a carbon fiber package added as standard. The performance seats by Recaro and carbon fiber interior trim are the major highlights of the cockpit. The production of special-edition cars is limited to 300 copies.

The 2019 Cadillac CTS is available with three engine options. The base one is a 2.0 L turbo I4 capable of producing 268 hp, with a 3.6 L V6 rated at 335 hp offered as an option. The latter is one of the most robust naturally aspirated engines in the segment. Both engines utilize Stop/Start technology to deliver higher fuel efficiency that tops out at 25 mpg for the I4 and 24 mpg for the V6, both combined. The V-Sport variant takes its power from a 3.6 L twin-turbo V6 that delivers 420 hp. With 118 hp per liter, it is the most power-dense six-cylinder unit in the mid-size luxury class. All engines work together with an 8-speed automatic transmission featuring paddle shifters, though the V-Sport uses a special higher-capacity variant with a wider overall ratio.

The base version of the 2019 Cadillac CTS comes with a solid amount of standard equipment that includes keyless entry and ignition, rear parking sensors, 17” wheels, Brembo brakes in front, rear-view camera, climate control, power adjustment for the front seats, and simulated leather upholstery. Tech features include a CUE infotainment system, 8” touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless device charging, OnStar telematics, 3 USB ports, voice controls, 11-speaker audio system by Bose, and smartphone compatibility.
