For 2019, Audi’s popular 2-door sports car underwent a facelift and now offers a special version commemorating the 20th anniversary of the original model's launch. The Audi TT was made even more refined, more progressive and more masculine. In addition, its performance characteristics were taken up a notch and the range of standard equipment was extended. A well-recognized Singleframe grille of the new TT features a three-dimensional look, plus there are redesigned side intakes and metal trim on aero components. The model can now be fitted with LED or Matrix LED headlights featuring dynamic turn signals. The rear end received horizontal lines above the exhaust outlets that emphasize the width of the vehicle. Besides, the new TT comes without the traditional gas tank cap – you just insert the nozzle into the opening below the tank flap to refuel. The new exterior package, the S line, is available too. It includes a titanium-black grille, vertical air inlets, full-length splitter in front, specific side sills, and a wider diffuser in the rear. The top of the line 2019 Audi TT RS comes with a slightly redesigned exterior featuring an even more dynamic look. The model offers a wide range of trim options.

The interior of the 2019 Audi TT offers some updates as well, though they are minimal. The list includes contrasting color stitching and the optional sport display in the corporate virtual cockpit. The range of standard equipment was extended and now it includes heated exterior mirrors, automatic wipers, drive mode selector, light and rain sensors, illuminated USB ports, Bluetooth, and multifunction steering wheel that enables you to entirely control the infotainment system and some other functions. The 2019 Audi TT utilizes upgraded engines, with a 2.0 L turbo I4 good for 197 hp being the base offering. A more potent variant now generates 245 hp, while the range-topping power unit is capable of delivering 306 hp. The latter is the only model’s engine that is less potent than before (because of emission regulations), though thanks to increased torque and a new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, it enables faster acceleration with the 0-60 mph time being 4.5 seconds. Later for 2019, a diesel engine rated at 230 hp should enter the market too. Apart from the new gearbox, the 2019 TT can be fitted with a 6-speed manual. The 2019 Audi TT RS packs serious power under the hood with a new 2.5 L TSFI five-cylinder motor producing up to 394 hp. The RS version can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
