One of the most popular cars by Audi, the A4 underwent a facelift for the 2019 model year. It looks a bit sharper now thanks to new fascias (both front and rear) and a revised grille. The surrounds of the air inlets in front were made more angular and now feature a pentagonal design. Plus, there is aluminum detailing up front. As for the rear end, exhaust tips are rectangular now, tail lights come with revised internals and the rear bumper received a redesigned faux diffuser. The 2019 Audi A4 rides on redesigned wheels that measure up to 19 inches in diameter. Some package changes were made as well. The S Line package was updated and now provides a sportier look with wedge-shaped bumpers, sportier wheels, silver exterior accents, and special paintwork. A sport-tuned suspension is added too and the Avant version comes with a rear spoiler on some markets. The new Competition package is available, offering LED headlights, red brake calipers, and a range of minor exterior touches. Inside, there are black partial leather sport seats, carbon inlays similar to the RS4 Avant, and multi-function steering wheel. A number of other upholstery options is offered as well.

The facelift brought no mechanical updates, hence the 2019 Audi A4 employs the same engines as before. The base version comes with a 2.0 L turbo I4 under the hood that generates 252 hp, while the Ultra model uses a more fuel-efficient variant of the same engine producing 190 hp. A 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox is standard across the board. Due to low consumer demand, starting in 2019, a manual transmission option is no longer available in the United States. A front-wheel-drive layout is standard, and all-wheel drive is available optionally, though the 2019 A4 Ultra comes with FWD only. Apart from the Ultra subtrim, the model is offered in three main grades, being Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. The base variant comes with automatic Xenon headlights, 17” wheels, sunroof, leather upholstery, climate control, power front seats with heating, Drive Select system, and auto-dimming rear-view mirror. On the tech front, the A4 offers the corporate infotainment system with a 7” touchscreen, 10-speaker audio system, 2 USB ports, rear-view camera, and smartphone integration.
