The sixth-generation Subaru Legacy was updated for the 2018 model year. The front end of the model now provides a sportier and more planted look. All versions of the 2018 Subaru Legacy feature an all-wheel drive layout with torque vectoring. A retuned suspension with dampers allows for better maneuverability, steering, and brake feel. Besides, it also reduces body roll and harshness. The model provides a quieter ride thanks to reshaped mirrors that decrease wind noise, thicker rear wheel-well insulation, and tweaks to its powertrain. The interior of the new Legacy features premium materials, new design of the steering wheel and center console. The base version comes with a larger 6.5” multimedia display, while an 8” screen is offered optionally.

The Legacy comes with a Reverse Automatic Braking system that can detect objects in the car’s path and inform the driver with audible warnings. The new tire pressure monitoring system controls pressure changes at each tire now. All versions of the model feature a rear-view camera.
