A 3.6 L V6 also using direct injection and VVT is offered as an option, capable of delivering 310 hp and having a fuel efficiency rating of 25 mpg. Both engines are connected to a 6-speed automatic with a manual shifting mode. FWD in the base configuration, while all-wheel drive 2018 GMC Acadia is available as well.

The second-generation Acadia has a new look – it comes with a dimensional grille, standard LED lighting, wraparound halogen headlights, and sculptural details. SLE, SLT and Denali grades also come with standard LED DRLs. An All Terrain package is offered for SLE and SLT trim levels. It offers unique wheels, dark chrome trim, and body-colored grille surround. Inside, the package offers distinctive accents, cargo management system, and covered storage bins. The 2018 GMC Acadia comes with advanced safety features – the corporate StabiliTrak system, rear-view camera, and 8 airbags are standard for the model. All variants except for All Terrain come with standard tri-zone automatic climate control. A 7” touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone compatibility is standard, while an 8” one with navigation is optional.
