Unveiled for 2012, the third-gen Ford Focus is now in its sixth model year, waiting for the total upgrade that will come with the fourth generation. On the British market, there's also the Christmas-inspired Ford Focus RS Red Edition limited to 300 units. As its name implies, the special edition Focus offers a bright red body color contrasted by black wheels, mirrors, roof, and spoiler.

Motive power for the Limited Edition Focus RS still comes from a 2.3L turbo four that makes 350 hp and the same amount of torque and is mated to a six-speed manual. The 2018 Focus RS gets a new mechanical limited-slip differential by Quaife for better grip. Paired with Ford's already excellent AWD system, it will make the car faster in corners. As for visual tweaks, the RS comes with 19” alloy wheels, spoiler, roof, and mirror caps all painted black. These gloss black finishes perfectly complement both exterior colors – the signature Nitrous Blue and the new Race Red. The interior sports carbon fiber trim accenting the gauges, door handles, and handbrake. The RS2 package is standard, which offers Recaro seats, voice-controlled nav, and seat warmers. The driver will benefit from a power seat and heated steering wheel.

The conventional Ford Focus lineup is expected to get a wider and longer body for 2018. It is likely to be powered by a range of EcoBoost engines, which currently includes a 1.0L 123-hp I3 and 2.0L 160-hp I4.
