At the 2018 New York Auto Show, the company presented the new Fiat 500X Urbana Edition featuring 18’’ matte black and Metallic Iron (Miron) wheels with protective copper caps, Miron black-trimmed exterior lights, door handles, and mirror caps, black skid plate, side roof rails, and tailgate release. All these components are accented with copper side moldings featuring 500X badging. Inside, you can find limited edition seats with Castiglione fabric, black door-panel-, vents-, and radio bezels, black center console, and black instrument panel with copper 500X logo. Another option for those who want to have a customized 500X from the factory is the Blue Sky Edition offered on Pop models that feature a 9-speed automatic. It is a selection of functional and visual tweaks that includes fog lights, a dual-pane sunroof, and automatic headlights, with plenty of satin chrome touches throughout the body. Apart from Blue Sky Metallic, three other exterior paint colors are available. Enhancements that found their way inside are blue accents on the seats and instrument panel. Front-drive models can be had with 17-inch wheels.

The 2018 Fiat 500X offers two power plants with a 1.4 L turbo I4 good for 160 hp being the base engine. Connected to a 6-speed manual, it delivers spirited driving experience. A more robust 2.4 L I4 rated at 180 hp is optional on the base trim and standard on more upscale models. It is directed through the first for the segment 9-speed automatic. The transmission ensures optimized engine output, efficient power delivery at highway speeds and aggressive launches.
