The Chevy Camaro is not just another insanely powerful muscle car. The rear-drive platform shared with the Cadillac ATS makes it easier to drive, and when equipped with the right package, it can turn into a refined, high-tech, and affordable sports coupe with plenty of muscle. What is great about the Camaro is a long list of options which allows buyers to have the car they want, be it a modest yet sleek entry point or a track monster. And for 2018, it brings more choices to the table. For the past few years, Chevrolet's performance vehicles department has been rich in offering race-ready machines such as the 1LEs, Stingray, or ZL1. The 2018 model lineup received a couple of new packages and a track-oriented variant. First came the ZL1 1LE Extreme Track Performance Package that took the 1LE legacy to a whole new level. Hot on its heels arrived the 2018 Camaro GT4.R race car, a 480-hp track weapon. The Redline Edition package makes a comeback for the new model year, while the 1LE package on the SS gains the upmarket 2SS trim.
What makes the 2018 Camaro GT4.R a hardcore track car is, first of all, its race-bred 6.2-liter 480-hp LT1 engine with a custom-made camshaft and carbon fiber intake. A 6-speed Xtrac sequential transmission backs it up. This track-going car has a weight of just 3,131 lbs and features aerodynamic characteristics that meet global GT4 specs. Making it possible are 2018 Chevy Camaro accessories and parts of the exterior such as a lightweight carbon fiber front splitter, rear spoiler (21-way adjustable), and front dive planes. The front fascia and doors are also made out of carbon fiber.
The the ZL1 1LE Extreme Track Performance Package adds body and suspension upgrades to the Camaro's most extreme 650-hp version. The 2018 Camaro ZL1 equipped with this package received lighter suspension components, special lightweight wheels built from forged aluminum, a carbon fiber spoiler, and specifically designed dive planes and front air deflectors. The newly available Redline Edition package adds aggressive 2018 Chevy Camaro accessories in a black-red color scheme, which include a distinctive grille with red accents, black mirrors, red-trimmed black aluminum wheels, dark tail lights, and special emblems and graphics.
The new model year welcomes in a rather interesting addition to the lineup – the 2018 Chevy Camaro Hot Wheels Edition. Hot Wheels, a renowned brand of mini toy cars that has been partnering with Chevrolet for many years, celebrates its 50th birthday in 2018. To mark this anniversary, Chevy created an appearance package available for only a limited number of 2,500 cars, with only 69 of them offered as Hot Wheels COPO Camaros. The models feature a Crush orange body paint color, gray and white stripes on the hood, gray ground effects and wheels, fender badges featuring Hot Wheels emblems, and black and orange interior accents.
Otherwise, the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro lineup carries over, coming in coupe and convertible body styles and offering a choice of LS, LT, SS, and the fastest ZL1 trims. The base 1LT model comes with a small yet muscular 2.0-liter 274-hp 4-cylinder. To best suit the driving conditions, there's a selector with Snow / Ice, Tour, and Sport ride modes. The standard tech includes a driver-information display, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot, two USB ports, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and others. Regardless of what version of the Camaro you own, the modern aftermarket offers just about everything for its appearance, interior, or mechanicals. Our aim is to carefully choose the finest of them in a well-assorted selection of 2018 Chevy Camaro parts and accessories.
Want to make your 2018 Chevy Camaro one of a kind, keep it running at its peak, or turn it into a high-powered beast? Our vast selection of premium accessories and parts ticks all the boxes.
