The 2017 Honda Ridgeline receives a new truck-like three-box design and adopts a range of styling elements from the 2016 Pilot model, including the headlights, hood, side-view mirrors, and front doors. The Ridgeline makes use of a 3.5-liter 280-horsepower V6 engine that works in conjunction with a six-speed automatic. Every 2017 Ridgeline can be equipped with either all-wheel drive or front-wheel-drive, which, however, leads to reduction in towing capabilities to only 3,500 pounds.

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline utilizes an independent suspension that allows each of four wheels to adapt to the road surface independently – such a setup ensures excellent handling and driving comfort.
