So, now your trailering and hauling limits are pushed forward even further. At the same time, the new turbodiesel runs quieter, providing a 38-percent decrease in engine noise at idle.

A new optional engine is not the only upgrade offered by the 2017 GMC Sierra 2500. The pickup also received a new air intake system incorporating a hood scoop for efficient engine cooling when your truck is doing tough jobs. The SLT trim now offers the All Terrain X HD package that includes black elements such as sport side steps, 18” aluminum wheels, and bed-mounted mounted sport bar and special tires by Goodyear. The SLT trim can also be fitted with 20” polished aluminum wheels. All versions of the 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 with a cargo box that run on gasoline offer capless fuel fill. The corporate Teen Driver Feature intended to encourage safe driving habits with younger or inexperienced drivers is now offered for the model too. The system allows parents to look through a range of important factors like the distance driven, top speed and active safety features usage. A pair of new exterior colors completes the range of updates for 2017.
