2012 Dodge Charger Air Intakes

I own a 2014 Dodge Charger pursuit with a 5.7 Hemi and AWD. I bought this cold air intake kit part number 57 1542 because in the past I have very much enjoyed and appreciated products from K and N. I am a pretty firm believer in you get what you pay for. Which is why I was okay with the thought that I spent 400 US dollars on a cold air intake. I probably would not have been as disappointed if I would have caught that the kit was missing the two silicone hoses couplers part number 08630 that are 3 and a half inches ID and 2 inches in length when I was not already done installing EVERYTHING else on my vehicle. I guess that part is my fault for not paying attention and catching it sooner upon opening all the packaging. The point is this is still aggravating. As a customer who loves K and N because of great past experience with their products on many different vehicles I have always been able to appreciate the quality in their products as well as respect their higher pricing because of this. Therefore when I spend 400 US dollars on a cold air intake kit I expect the parts to all be present and in great shape. I will come back and edit and update if all ends well with customer service. I get it mistakes happen. It is a shame that I feel the need to say all this because of two what you would think would be simple or cheap parts. I checked around town at parts and hardware stores and nobody has 3 and a half ID silicone or rubber hosing. Mind you all I live in a decent size city. In conclusion keep in mind you may need to order your own hoses for this kit even though they are on the parts listed in multiple locations. I even went on k and n website directly and I tried searching for the part number 08630 and got nowhere. However I did find part number 08698 that appears by description to potentially be the same part. As long there is no special molding involved on the original part 08630. Hopefully KandN can fix this. Thanks for reading.
