The corporate Sync infotainment system is now available on all grades except for the base XL and a new spray-in bedliner is offered for all variants of the F-250. Axle ratios were revised in order to enhance fuel efficiency. The Cabela package became a standalone trim level that took the place of the FX4. Cabela and Lariat grades now utilize a 5-speed automatic as standard. The Harley-Davidson package is offered only for diesel-powered models now.

The 2010 Ford F-250 offers three potent engines. A 5.4 L gasoline V8 that makes 300 hp is a standard one and 6.8 L gas V10 good for 362 hp is optional. The line-topping offering is a 6.4 L turbodiesel V8 that can produce 350 hp. A 6-speed manual is the base transmission. The 5-speed automatic is standard on Cabela and Lariat and optional on other models. The 2010 F-250 can tow up to 12,500 lb when equipped properly. 2WD and 4WD variants of the model are available. Anti-lock disc brakes are standard for the pickup. Models using an automatic gearbox (except for the base XL) can also be equipped with rear parking sensors and adjustable pedals.

The interior of the 2010 Ford F-250 features high-grade materials. The XL grade offers vinyl upholstery and XLT comes with cloth. Leather upholstery is standard for the Lariat and optional for other trim levels.
