It was winter of 1996-1997, when Sherwood Innovations Inc. became an independent company. For almost three years, they operated as a division of Centro Manufacturing, and only after all the possible experience and knowledge had been gathered, the company decided that it was time to move on. Over the years, Sherwood has grown from three people into a dedicated team of professionals, and gained an army of devoted fans all over the globe.
Sherwood went a long way, and they surely know what it takes to manufacture superior dash kits. While being in the union with Centro Manufacturing, a tier 2 supplier to the original equipment manufacturers, Sherwood drew on the extensive engineering and manufacturing experience of its parent company. In 1999, Sherwood acquired the assets of TrimMaster Inc., a major player in the dash business with a strong presence on the market. Today, Sherwood Innovations Inc. is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, yet their dash kits are well-known all over the globe. OEM-approved and precision-cut, Sherwood dash kits are subject to numerous tests. To ensure compliance with the FMVSS 302 requirements, the kits undergo various burn and flame tests. To make sure that your kit won't fade or crack, Sherwood puts its dash kits to the accelerated exposure test. And you don't have to worry about scratches or nicks, while the Sherwood kits go through 1,000 cycles of abrasion testing and impact resistance test.
