Scion tC Custom Fog Lights

I pre-ordered these mid-January with a ship date of Feb.14. Well, that day came and went; when I checked the status I received a call saying it was on backorder. Ok cool, I ordered close to the ship date so I was at the end of the list, no problem. Then that ship date came and went and again received a call saying it was on backorder. Odd, but ok. New ship date comes and goes; its now mid-April. Backordered again, so I call the manufacturer since according to the CARiD rep, they receive the ship dates from the manufacturer. The manufacturer says they only have one ship date for mid-May and no changes had been made to it since the order was placed. That date also comes and goes. Finally, mid-June I finally receive the fog lights and get them mostly installed. I say mostly because wires connecting the two fog lights together are just barely long enough (I honestly wasn't sure I was going to be able to put the bumper back on) and I have yet to find a way to run the switches into my car without showing wire. Now, onto the actual fog lights. Upon receipt, the back of the lights themselves (where the wires attach) was more than just scuffed up. The black paint had been removed to show bare metal, but I wasnt about to send it back and wait almost half a year again over something that wont be seen by anyone but a mechanic. The fog light is bright enough, but I'll definitely be looking into a HID/LED conversion since I have HID headlights just so theres a more uniform look. The halo on the other hand, cant be seen in the daylight and are only marginally better at night until the fog lights are turned on, then they cant be seen again. For over $100, I would not buy these again.
