Laclede Chain warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of original retail purchase. Should such products prove defective by reason of improper workmanship and/or material, Laclede Chain will repair or replace, at its option, any defective part.

Any express warranty not provided herein, and any remedy for breach of contract which but for this provision might arise by implication of law, is hereby excluded and disclaimed. The implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose are expressly limited to a period of ninety (90) days from the date of the original purchase. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Traction Products.

Disclaimer of warranties: Traction products are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material for thirty (30) days from the date of delivery to a user, provided the rules for using tire chains are complied with. No other express or implied warranty of any kind whatsoever (including by way of example and not limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) is given, and no affirmation of the seller, by words or action, shall constitute a warranty. The above warranty is made only to the dealer, retailer, or other direct customers of Laclede Chain. Laclede Chain makes no warranty to any other ultimate user and prohibits the transfer of the warranty given above to its direct customer to any subsequent purchasers, including, but not limited to, the ultimate user.

Remedies: The buyer’s sole remedy for breach of any warranty is limited exclusively to obtaining, at the discretion of the seller, either credit, repair, or replacement of any Laclede Chain product sold hereunder. Buyer shall not be entitled to recover any special, incidental, or consequential damages.

Warning: Chains produced from low carbon steel are not to be used for overhead lifting purposes or where the failure of the chain is likely to cause injury to a person or property. Such chains are suitable for ordinary purposes such as towing, fencing, security barriers or general purposes where a chain of high tensile strength is not required. Only chains made from alloy steel, Grade 80 or Grade 100, should ever be used for overhead lifting purposes. Laclede snaps and pulleys are not to be used where safety is a factor. Snaps and pulleys are designed for general purpose and should not be used for lifting or hoisting purposes or where the failure of this product is likely to cause injury to a person or property.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:
