The Range Extender generator, which is basically the Bavarian manufacturer’s 2-cylinder motorcycle engine, allows the car to travel up to 200 miles.

Small on the outside, the BMW i3 is surprisingly spacious inside – save for rear passenger room that is fairly cramped. With the second row folded flat, there are 39 cubic feet of cargo space.
