The second generation of the Acura NSX hybrid sports car was introduced for 2017. The model offered a wide range of advanced features and for the following year it remained almost unchanged. The chassis of the 2019 Acura NSX was made stiffer, both front and rear, mostly thanks to larger stabilizer bars – there is a 26-percent increase in the front and 19-percent enhancement in the rear. Besides, toe-control link bushings in the rear were upgraded too – they are 21 percent stiffer now. The exterior received certain updates as well – the front grille trim is now body-colored (it came with a chrome finish before), while its surround is high-gloss. The new orange color option was added to the palette and orange brake calipers are offered optionally. For 2019, the NSX offers a wider range of standard features that now includes a premium audio system, front and rear proximity sensors, satellite navigation, aluminum sport pedals, and four-way power adjustable seats. Lighter sport seats with manual adjustment come as a no-cost option.

The 2019 Acura NSX comes in a single trim level and offers a sole hybrid powertrain. The powertrain consists of a 3.5 L twin-turbo V6, 9-speed automatic, and three electric motors. A gasoline engine and one electric motor propel the rear wheels, while each wheel in the front takes power from its own electric motor. This configuration allows the onboard computers to accelerate and decelerate each wheel on the go for better performance driving. Together, the powertrain delivers 573 hp and enables the car to reach 60 mph in 3 seconds. At the same time, the 2019 Acura NSX provides solid fuel economy of 21 mpg combined. Apart from new standard features most of which were part of the Technology package, the model comes with generous standard equipment. It includes 19” front and 20” rear wheels, LED headlights, adaptive suspension dampers, and keyless entry and ignition. The interior offers leather and simulated leather upholstery, 7” touchscreen with the corporate interface, and smartphone compatibility.
