The history of RKI Inc. traces back to 1911, when the Koenig family founded a blacksmith shop. After the merge with the Rawson family in 1987, the enterprise became known as Rawson-Koenig Inc. The company was renamed RKI in 2001 and is now based out of Houston, Texas. RKI redefines the actual meaning of commercial-grade pickup truck equipment. RKI constructs products for those who do not just simply use their trucks as daily drivers, but actually utilize them for work. The company offers a variety of RKI truck tool box units, including cross boxes, side boxes, topper compartments, under bodies, and also floor drawers, window grilles, racks, and a range of accessories; hydraulic, electric, and mechanical winches, cranes, and replacement parts. RKI truck boxes are manufactured using minimum 14 gauge steel with stainless steel latches and hinges and come with a durable polyester powder coating finish offered in black or white. Aluminum RKI tool box units use glossy diamond-plate aluminum and are offered with gas shock lid arms, and they also feature black or white powder coating finish. The company’s floor drawers are upgraded with striker designs. The multi-stage latching system is used, while giving a cleaner look at the front.
