A well-designed bug deflector hood shield protects your vehicle in two ways: First, it shields the leading edge of your hood from stones and other debris borne by the wind or thrown up by other vehicles, keeping your hood free of dings, dents and chipped paint. Second, the lip of the shield redirects airflow enough to propel bugs and debris up and over your vehicle, instead of crashing and splattering into your windshield, preserving and maintaining your visibility and keeping your windshield free of chips and scratches. Besides protection, the Bugflector’s low-to-medium aerodynamic profile and smoked finish will perfectly complement your truck, van or SUV’s appearance. The Bugflector is custom designed to perfectly match the contours of your hood and be aerodynamically efficient. It's made of rugged impact modified acrylic to resist wear and tear, so you’ll get many years of protection, and installs simply and quickly with 3M double-sided tape, depending on application. Once installed, you’ll find that the included rubber bumpers will keep the shield from contacting the body, to protect the paint finish, and the off-the-hood design enables you to keep your vehicle clean and waxed easily.

The Bugflector is car wash safe; however automatic “brush-style” car washes should be avoided. Cleaning the shield is easy with soap and water, and cleaning solvents or other chemical products should not be used. The Bugflector comes with everything required for installation, including hardware and detailed instructions, and it’s covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to the original purchaser as long as he or she owns the vehicle on which the product is installed.

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint and painting on all Lund International, Inc.'s Lund International, AVS®, Lund®, Nifty® and Deflecta-Shield® Accessories branded products properly installed per provided instructions except those listed below under the One-Year Warranty, Two-Year Warranty or Three-Year Warranty. This warranty does not apply to any product from Lund International's direct or indirect subsidiaries. For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last as long as the original retail purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product is installed. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

Limited One-Year Warranty

Needed a bug deflector for my Chevy Colorado
