The history of Kelderman suspension systems began in 1990, when the founder and president of the company, Gary Kelderman, developed the solution for the rough riding Ram truck. That product was called the Kelderman 2-Stage Rear Air Suspension system that aimed to boost the carrying capability of the truck suspension and improve the ride. It was greatly accepted by truck owners and is still in production. The system is also available with a leveling kit that allows for running larger tires on the Ram.
