TEIN High Performance Suspension Parts

Tein

Tein began operations in 1985 in Japan with OEM production of shock absorbers and is now a worldwide company with facilities in Japan (where it manufactures all Tein springs and coilovers), the USA, and the UK. The key factor that sets the company apart is building suspension parts based on consumer demands, road conditions, and specs in different regions. It means that customers get the most suitable product for the area they live in.

To ensure the consistent performance of Tein suspension parts in specific regions, the company has R&D facilities in many countries that test operation and fitment locally, and the USA is no exception. Tein USA was established in 2001 and is located in California. As street applications are developed specifically for the region, the products by Tein USA are not offered in other parts of the world. Tein coilovers, lowering springs, etc. are built in ISO9001 certified facilities.

Tein's manufacturing capabilities are impressive. The company utilizes the latest Automatic piston rod cutters, fraser machines, automatic gun drill processing machines and pipe cutters, computer-aided design systems and CNC centers. All inner parts of Tein shock absorbers are washed by ultrasonic washers. Every product is being tested. For instance, Tein shocks are repeatedly stroked over 10 million times which can be compared with 5-year load during use under normal conditions.

I've been running these coilovers pretty hard over the past few months and they have been absolutely amazing.
