The McLaren Sports Series was launched in 2015 as the most affordable offering of the company. For the 2019 model year, the series adopted the 600LT, the next Longtail car in the McLaren lineup. The car borrows the seven-speed dual clutch transmission from the 570S, which offers fast gear changes and great efficiency. Thanks to its carbon fiber bodywork and chassis teamed with a lightweight braking system, the car is almost 211 lbs lighter than the 570S Coupe. The interior of the car is heavily based on that of its predecessor. Although, it still has a few features that set it apart from the 570S. Thus, the 600LT can be had with carbon fiber seats that are more aggressive than those found in the 570S. The door panels and dash boast light Alcantara instead of leather. The steering wheel and seats are also wrapped in Alcantara, which increases the grip.
